ASSISTANT
JOB DESCRIPTION
Pay: $13/hr
Job Type: Part-time (10-15 hrs/week)
Since 2006 Chad’s Chai has been providing high quality teas & tea blends to restaurants and cafes in Winston-Salem and beyond. Our mission has always been to foster community by creating “tea worth sharing.” We are seeking a detail-oriented, hard-working individual to assist in our wholesale/retail production to further that mission and enable us to provide a high-quality product to our customers. This will be a back-of-house position.
Expectations
Work under supervision of management to meet everyday needs of wholesale/retail production
Meticulously follow recipes to build batches of tea blends
Fill packaging with loose leaf tea/tea blends with precision according to instructions
Use online ordering system to fill orders
Pick from stock to fill orders
Package orders and use online shipping system to ship orders to customers
May occasionally be asked to make deliveries to local businesses and/or to post office
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspace
Comply with health and safety regulations
Monitor inventory of product, ingredients, and supplies
Work and communicate well with fellow team members
Assist in identifying potential improvements in production workflow
Required Skills
Ability to pay close attention to detail and follow instructions exactly
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changes in instructions, ingredients, and equipment while still maintaining consistent, superior quality of product
Ability to listen to constructive feedback
