Boba Tea

BOBA TEA
( Recipe makes 4-6 cups )

Ingredients

  • 1.5 Tablespoons Finnigan’s Wake-up tea (loose-leaf) 

  • 3.5 Tablespoons Jade Oolong or Darjeeling tea (loose-leaf)

  • 9 Tablespoons sugar  

  • Tapioca pearls

  • Half n’ half or cream (or non-dairy milk)

Directions

  • Prepare tapioca balls according to instructions on the package.

  • Combine teas in about 2 cups boiled water. Cover and steep for 8 min.

  • Strain, stir in sugar, then add ice water to bring up to 6 cups total*  (should be cold, and the ice dissolved.)

  • Place tapioca balls, then ice in glass. Add tea. Pour half n’ half or cream on the top. Enjoy!

*if using non-dairy milk, only bring the tea up to 3 cups and add 3 cups “milk”
